MarkMonitor Chief Marketing Officer Frederick Felman and Director of Product Management Andrew Horton to Speak at the International Quality and Productivity Center’s Anti-Counterfeiting and Brand Protection Conference
SAN FRANCISCO, Sept 12, 2007 – MarkMonitor®, the global leader in enterprise brand protection, announced Frederick Felman, chief marketing officer, and Andrew Horton, director of product management, will present at the International Quality and Productivity Center (IQPC) Anti-Counterfeiting and Brand Protection Conference in New York. The conference will address the escalating dangers of global counterfeiting.
Frederick Felman will host the first day’s events and moderate a panel titled, “Online Counterfeiting Enforcement Strategies.” Panelists, including experts from luxury brands Gucci America and Burberry, will identify signs of online threats, discuss how to expose who controls Web sites that advertise and sell counterfeit goods, and determine what steps should be taken to combat online counterfeiting.
Andrew Horton will moderate a panel titled, “Preventing Online Brand Abuse” in a discussion about proactive prevention of online trademark abuse and best practices to identify and stop brand abuse. The panel will include legal and marketing representatives from Time Warner, Dell, Harman Consumer Group and FairWinds Partners, LLC.
