Steven P. Bird
General Partner, Focus Ventures
Steve is a co-founder and general partner of Focus Ventures, focusing on investments in the enterprise software and electronic commerce areas. Prior to co-founding Focus Ventures, Steve was a Managing Director at Comdisco Ventures where he provided debt and equity capital for emerging growth companies. Previously he was a General Partner at First Century Partners, a $100 million venture capital fund affiliated with Smith Barney. Successful investments at First Century and Comdisco included Aspect Development, Elantec, Summit Design Technology, SuperMac Technology, and US Web. Steve holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and MS and BS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
Stephen J. Harrick
Managing Director and Partner, Institutional Venture Partners
Stephen Harrick joined Institutional Venture Partners (IVP) in October 2001. He focuses on expansion-stage venture capital investments within the software, Internet, and communications sectors. Stephen led IVP's investments in Agile Software (AGIL), Business.com, MarkMonitor, Motion Computing, Teros, Tripwire and WebEx Communications (WEBX), and has been actively involved in IVP's investments in ArcSight and SkyStream Networks. Mr. Harrick currently serves on the Board of Directors of Business.com, MarkMonitor, and Teros. He earned a B.A. in History from Yale University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Warren Weiss
General Partner, Foundation Capital
Warren joined Foundation Capital with over 25 years experience in the software industry, including President & CEO of four public and private software companies. Most recently, he served as President & CEO for Asera, a real-time software solutions provider. Warren served as President & CEO at Prism Solutions during the company's transition from data warehousing tools provider to business intelligence application deliverer. He was also President of SQribe Technologies (now Hyperion) and President & CEO of SMI (Strategic Mapping Inc.) and has held other senior executive positions at Next Software, Continuum, and Dun & Bradstreet Software. Warren currently serves on the boards of ADEXS, MarkMonitor, Rearden Commerce, Silver Spring Networks, Itemfield, and Novazone. He holds a BS from Western Illinois University.
Monica Morse
Managing Director, Cargill Ventures
Monica Morse is a Managing Director with Cargill Ventures. Prior to Cargill Ventures she was a co-founder of a logistics services start-up in Portland, Oregon, and worked as VP of Business Development for digital rights management solutions' provider, Portland Software. Monica also worked in strategy & business development for Cargill, following a year as a grain merchant. Prior to joining Cargill, Monica worked as a financial analyst at Alex Brown & Sons and as an investment associate for the World Bank. Monica holds a B.A. in International Relations and an M.A. in Development Economics from Stanford University, and an M.B.A. from Harvard.

Faisal Shah
Co-Founder and Board Member
Faisal Shah is a former partner with the Los Angeles office of Pillsbury Winthrop LLP (formerly Pillsbury Madison & Sutro, LLP), one of the nation's top law firms. Subsequent to that, he was with Richardson Labs as Executive Vice President and General Counsel, where he handled numerous intellectual property issues and successfully represented the company before the Federal Trade Commission. Shah holds a B.A. in Marketing from the University of Colorado and a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
Irfan Salim
President and Chief Executive Officer, MarkMonitor
Irfan brings to MarkMonitor more than 20 years of experience growing and leading world-class Internet security, fraud prevention, and domain registrar companies. Prior to MarkMonitor, he was president and chief operating officer of Internet security company Zone Labs, which was acquired by Check Point Technologies. Earlier, Irfan was president and CEO of NameSecure.com, an Internet domain name registrar and services company. Irfan has also held positions including president of US and European operations at TrendMicro; president and CEO at desktop publishing and presentation software company Software Publishing Corporation; and vice president and general manager of the Spreadsheet Division at Lotus Development. Prior to Lotus Irfan spent 7 years with Texas Instruments. He holds an undergraduate degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London, and an M.B.A. from Manchester Business School, England.
