Businesses establish a presence online with brand-savvy TLDs

At least 21 companies have transitioned away from a primary web presence on a .COM or ccTLD to a .Brand TLD.

.Brand TLDs have been adopted globally and are helping organizations to distinguish themselves on the internet through enhanced recognition and trust. The new gTLD program is moving toward completion of its 2012 Application Round, with many Registry Operators continuing to work their TLDs through the latter parts of the launch process. Meanwhile, a small group of TLDs are still in contention between multiple applicants and have yet to be awarded to a Registry Operator.
