For more than 15 years, Statton has provided companies with strategic business advice and guidance on Internet policy, domain name strategy, compliance, and brand protection. As former general counsel and officer of several public, private, and non-profit corporations in the Internet industry including Network Solutions, Enom, Rightside, NameJet, and Name.com, Statton has led teams that have developed tactics, policies, procedures, and industry best practices to tackle several forms of abusive online behavior including consumer fraud, dissemination of counterfeit goods, illegal pharmacies, and trademark infringement. Statton holds a BA in Government from the University of Virginia and a JD from the University of Maine School of Law.
With over four years of experience in Brand Protection, he has focused on building a comprehensive, effective brand protection strategy for global brands in various industries including technology, apparel, sports and entertainment. Zac has managed a team of Brand Protection Analysts, and has helped establish industry-standard anti-counterfeiting best practices looking across multiple digital channels. Zac holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Idaho and a Master's of Business Administration, graduating with honors, from Northwest Nazarene University.
Kelly brings to MarkMonitor more than 15 years of journalistic and professional writing experience. Having earned her bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in advertising, this self-proclaimed “brand warrior” now focuses her work on stories about protecting company names in the marketplace.
Stefanie has over ten years’ experience in anti-fraud, brand protection and vendor relations, she has worked with a wide range of industries from financial to retail, manufacturing to social media. Stefanie has managed a team of Client Service Managers and Analysts supporting both the AntiFraud and Brand Protection Services in her tenure with MarkMonitor, and she has a deep knowledge of phishing fraud, grey area brand fraud/brand abuse, and the MarkMonitor customer user experience.
With more than 13 years’ experience in the domain industry, Alison has managed all aspects of Corporate Domain Management, including domain strategy development and implementation. Alison started her career in the domain industry with MarkMonitor as a Client Services Manager responsible for managing large complex domain portfolios for global brands. Alison is currently responsible for the overall go-to-market message for MarkMonitor’s domain business, is a member of ICANN's Business Constituency (BC), and continues to work face-to-face with many MarkMonitor clients, providing industry insight and domain protection strategies
