Akino started her career in public relations and marketing in London and has worked in Europe, Asia and the United States. She has led and served interim roles in global marketing strategies, product marketing, events management, public relations, corporate communications and regional marketing. Akino holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University College of London, a Master of Science from the London School of Economics, and has trilingual fluency in English, Italian and Japanese.
During the past five years Dan has focused on a wide range of issues including affiliate and partner compliance, online traffic diversion, trademark and search engine policy abuse in pay-per-click advertising, social media brand abuse and online celebrity impersonation. In his current role, Dan helps communicate details of MarkMonitor Brand Protection internally and externally with a special focus on topics related to partner compliance and pay-per-click advertising abuse.
For more than 15 years, Statton has provided companies with strategic business advice and guidance on Internet policy, domain name strategy, compliance, and brand protection. As former general counsel and officer of several public, private, and non-profit corporations in the Internet industry including Network Solutions, Enom, Rightside, NameJet, and Name.com, Statton has led teams that have developed tactics, policies, procedures, and industry best practices to tackle several forms of abusive online behavior including consumer fraud, dissemination of counterfeit goods, illegal pharmacies, and trademark infringement. Statton holds a BA in Government from the University of Virginia and a JD from the University of Maine School of Law.
Jenni has over 12 years of experience in the Domain industry. Most recently, she has provided strategic consultative services for MarkMonitor clients in the areas of new gTLD program strategy, domain portfolio right-sizing, and domain portfolio optimization. Previous positions include experience as a Brand Protection Client Services Manager, managing strategies and tactical solutions for combatting counterfeit and grey market sales, trademark infringement and other online threats and Domain Provisioner, responsible for forming and maintaining relationships with domain name registries around the world.
Chrissie has over 15 years of experience in the business intelligence, brand protection and domain sector she has worked to develop the MarkMonitor brand internationally. Through her career, Chrissie has been responsible for the Marketing leadership and market development of major technology businesses such as Information Builders. Chrissie holds a degree in Marketing and Business Administration from Hertfordshire University and a Post Graduate in Strategic Management from Hertfordshire Business School.
