As former general counsel and officer of several public, private, and non-profit corporations in the Internet industry including Network Solutions, Enom, Rightside, NameJet, and Name.com, Statton has led teams that have developed tactics, policies, procedures, and industry best practices to tackle several forms of abusive online behavior including consumer fraud, dissemination of counterfeit goods, illegal pharmacies, and trademark infringement. Statton holds a BA in Government from the University of Virginia and a JD from the University of Maine School of Law.
Emily oversees the management of large corporate domain portfolios and works with brands to develop streamlined solutions for managing their domains. With over 7 years of program management experience, Emily is dedicated to quality customer service and strategic guidance for maximum efficiency in the domain industry. Emily holds a master’s degree in Human Development from Washington State University and conducts professional development trainings on employee productivity.
Kelly brings to MarkMonitor more than 15 years of journalistic and professional writing experience. Having earned her bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in advertising, this self-proclaimed “brand warrior” now focuses her work on stories about protecting company names in the marketplace.
Anthony is a Client Partnership Manager at MarkMonitor, who oversees advisory services for Domain customers. These services include domain management, needs assessment, analyzing of customer data, consultative services, domain strategy and program support. His previous positions included Client Services Manager and Senior Client Services manager. These required in-depth knowledge of domain registrations, transfers, scheduled DNS updates, zone configuration and strategy guidance on Top Level Domains. His other responsibilities include writing news articles, new employee development, conducting DNS trainings and managing TLD launches.
Olivia is responsible for developing strategic partnerships with third party platforms such as law enforcement authorities, search engines, marketplaces, social media platforms and mobile app stores globally. For over six years, Olivia has gained extensive technical knowledge in digital threats, having worked previously as a consultant in domain names and online brand protection, web security and competitive intelligence for Fortune 100 companies. Olivia holds a MA Hons in International Security & Defence and participated in several high-level trainings on cybersecurity at the NATO School Oberammergau in Germany and at the Military School and Institute for Higher National Defence Studies in Paris.
