Statton HammockVice President, Global Policy & Industry Development

Statton Hammock For more than 15 years, Statton has provided companies with strategic business advice and guidance on Internet policy, domain name strategy, compliance, and brand protection. As former general counsel and officer of several public, private, and non-profit corporations in the Internet industry including Network Solutions, Enom, Rightside, NameJet, and Name.com, Statton has led teams that have developed tactics, policies, procedures, and industry best practices to tackle several forms of abusive online behavior including consumer fraud, dissemination of counterfeit goods, illegal pharmacies, and trademark infringement. Statton holds a BA in Government from the University of Virginia and a JD from the University of Maine School of Law.

Brian KingDirector of Internet Policy and Industry Affairs

Brian J. King is Director of Internet Policy and Industry Affairs at MarkMonitor, where he is a vocal advocate for internet policy that protects the intellectual property rights and promotes the interests of MarkMonitor and its customers. Prior to joining MarkMonitor, Brian spent nine years at CSC Digital Brand Services, most recently as Associate General Counsel and Global Head of Vendors, TLDs, and Compliance.

Chris NiemiManager, Domain Services

With over 14 years of experience, Chris Niemi is an expert in TLD operations and support. Chris currently manages a Domain Services team that provides ancillary services – domain recovery, domain sales, and New gTLD .Brand support – which enhance our clients’ domain portfolio management strategies. Since 2011, Chris has been deeply involved with the application, delegation and operational launch processes of New gTLDs, overseeing the integration and management of the 60+ .Brand TLDs for which we are providing registrar services. Chris holds an undergraduate degree in English from Harvard and a MBA in General Management from Gonzaga University School of Business Administration.

Sherry HildebrandGlobal Relationship Manager

Sherry has over 17 years of experience working on strategic projects with various stakeholders. She is currently responsible for managing gTLDs for MarkMonitor, including overseeing the launch of new gTLDs on behalf of Markmonitor. She cultivates relationships with industry partners for MarkMonitor’s Domain business. Sherry began her career at MarkMonitor managing large, complex domain portfolios and helping clients develop domain strategies. Sherry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication, Public Relations from the University of Idaho.

Alison SimpsonPortfolio Marketing Director

Deb Giddings With more than 14 years’ experience in the domain industry, Alison has managed all aspects of Corporate Domain Management, including domain strategy development and implementation. Alison started her career in the domain industry with MarkMonitor as a Client Services Manager responsible for managing large complex domain portfolios for global brands. Alison is currently responsible for the overall go-to-market message for MarkMonitor’s domain business and continues to work face-to-face with many MarkMonitor clients, providing industry insight and domain protection strategies.
